Training Resource Center Overview

Welcome to the Training Resource Center! This resource provides task-based and general reference information to help you complete Oracle processes, including:

  • Accounts Payable
  • General Ledger
  • Cash Management
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Reporting

 

The information contained in the Training Resource Center is subject to change without notice. Please always refer back to published content in the Training Resource Center, as it is the most up-to-date training available.

Open the Training Resource Center from the Remington Portal

To access the Training Resource Center and other helpful information on the Remington Portal, open Mozilla Firefox and follow these steps:

 Navigate your Firefox browser to the Remington Portal at https://portal.remingtonhotels.com.

 Bookmark the Remington Portal page or add it to your favorites for easy reference.

 From the Remington portal,scroll over REMINGTON DEPARTMENTS  and click THE ORACLE PROJECT from the list.
  
Note: If required, type your network username and password to access the page.

 If you aren't already logged in, the Remington Portal sign in page appears.  
 
Enter either:
  • Your RNET password
  • Your email and password

 

Click Sign in.  The Oracle Project screen appears.

 On the right of the screen, scroll to the Oracle Accounting and Finance section.  
 
In the Remington section, click Remington Training Resource Center.
 
Note:  Always us the links on The Oracle Page to ensure error-free access.

 When the Remington Training Resource Center site displays, it may show without the navigation, depending on the size of the browser window.
 
Click the Menu button to display the Table of Contents.

 Browse through the Table of Contents to learn the content organization.  
 
Click the Expand button to expand titles and see more topics.
 
Once a topic is expanded, click the Close button to close the topic list.

 

Navigate the Training Resource Center (TRC)

This online resource is easy to use and provides several options through which you can find information quickly. Use the following menus (found on the left side of the screen) to find the information you need:

 Use the  menu  icon to find topics grouped by headings.  Click the heading to see the list of topics and tasks.
 
The menu may be horizontal or vertical, depending on the browser window size.
Keyword Search
 

 
Enter a keyword into the field and click the Search icon.  A list of topics matching the entered criteria displays.
 
The menu may be horizontal or vertical, depending on the browser window size.
