Oracle allows you to search using many different fields, but not all fields are shown in a basic Search page. These steps show how to use Advanced Search features to add fields and specify search criteria. These features are found whenever you see the Advanced button on a Search page.
As an example, these steps show the Advanced Search features for an invoice search.

In many cases, Oracle Cloud does not include a browse option in its search function. Often, browsing all entries helps you locate an item not found using general search methods. The following tip describes how to use the Does not equal and/or Does not contain operators to list a all entries for a specific search.
Note: This search method uses the Does not equal or Does not contain operators available in a field's drop-down list. If this option is not shown in the list, then the feature isn't available.
As an example, the Manage Invoice page's Advanced Search fields are shown.

To search for all unpaid, accounted invoices, those fields are
added and values entered.

When a field offers a drop-down list with the arrow displayed on the right, there are several ways to search for the entry you want.
Option 1: Type One or More Characters
Oracle fields respond to the characters you type, offering fast selections.

The entries you see in a drop-down list are frequently used entries for that field.
